6/7/19: Summer Benefit Series: June First Friday-7pm This summer, Revolution Records wants to give back. We're dedicating all of our First Fridays to benefits, starting with one for Planned Parenthood. In light of recent events, PP is going to need all the help ( & donations) they can get to fight for reproductive rights in the state of MO. Come listen to some kickass bands & bring whatever you can to donate to Planned Parenthood! Here's the lineup: Hipshot Killer Lovergurl Salty Chase The Horseman Joseph Warren Wheeler & The Wanderlust Revival Nunya Plus art by Ben Johnson & our usual keg of beer 6/11/19: The People's Market-6pm Join us on Tuesday June 11th, from 6-8pm for our People's Market, free and open to all. There will be free hot meals, free clothing and other donation items alongside free literature and access to many great local organizations. We are partnering with Kansas City Food Not Bombs, The Really Really Free Market, The IWW, The 8th St. Publishing Guild & more. 6/21/19: Open Poetry Night-7pm Join us on Friday, June 21st, for the next reading in our monthly series, Open Poetry will kick off at 7pm with featured readers followed by an open mic. Free/all ages/open to everyone! 8th St. Publishing Guild is a Kansas City based publisher of surrealist & avant-garde poetry & prose. We take submissions and would be delighted to read your work.
