5/1/19: May Day Fundraiser Concert: 7pm
Come join us after the May Day Labor March at Revolution Records as we celebrate our culture of worker solidarity with live music, information, and unity.
The Kansas City Industrial Workers of the World, @KansasCityDSA and RevolutionRecords are happy to present the May Day March Fundraiser Concert. Revolution Records is providing a line up of awesome local leftist music, we'll be on hand talking about #OneBigUnion stuff, DSA will be discussing their upcoming campaigns, and other local activist and community organizations will be on hand with information about their efforts.
Come hang out with us as we celebrate our history, sacrifices, and potential of our union. Learn about the significance of May Day to workers, what efforts are being made by groups to support unions today, and the rich and diverse history of the labor movement.
Fundraiser to be held at Revolution Records at 7:00 PM directly after the May Day Labor March. All proceeds to equally benefit Heartland IWW and Kansas City DSA.
